Stairway to Excellence

    In conjunction with the “Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang 2012”, which was held on 7 April 2012, we invited the Director of State Education Department, Yang Bahagia Encik  Mohd  Nor bin A Ghani to officiate the ceremony. As he was unable to make it, so his place was replaced by our first Principal of SMK Taman Daya 2 cum the previous Head of PPD Pasir Gudang , Puan Hajjah Saadiah binti Said. In the welcoming speech by our Principal, Puan Hajjah Jamiaah binti Kechut mentioned that the school web site, both English blog and bulletin and celebration towards a decade of the school would be launched. Apart from that, there were also performances by collaboration of teachers and students.

Priceless expression while receiving her results on the day when the SPM result was being announced

She was one of the female photographers who always took shots in most of the school events. After spending 2 years of being a loyal member of the photography club, it had taught her the wide world of photography and slowly bit by bit she could master it. Her school life started once she enrolled to SK Taman Daya. Next, she spent her 3 years of secondary education from 2007 till 2009 in SMK Taman Daya and later 
in 2010 she joined SMKTD2 and studied in 4 Science 1. 


Being the 3^rd child in the family, a daughter to loving parents Datuk Maulizan bin Bujang and Datin Suzana binti Jufrin has inspired this fair-skinned-and-petite-sized girl to be excellent in both academic and in co-curricular activity.

Dublin, Here I come!

Karishma  a/p Saravanan decided to take part in the 'Dublin Literary Award for Young Malaysians 2012'. Hence, she had burned her midnight oil in order to write an essay for this essay writing competition. This year's topic is “Be careful of what you wish for “and she managed to complete the essay within the time given. This essay writing competition is organized by the Irish Embassy in collaboration with the Information , Communication and Culture Ministry, the National Library Board, The Star and is supported by the Education Ministry of Malaysia. Hopefully, her parents and her would win the grand prize to fly to Dublin to attend the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Awards .
